Last Friday, 4th graders took a trip to Burnt Island to explore the intertidal zone. They found crabs, sea urchins, and even a baby sea star!

The US Coast Guard out of Boothbay Harbor was conducting a ceremony on the island that day, and they invited the students to board their 47-foot lifeboat.
