Booothbay Region Elementary School was built in 1977 to consolidate the four local elementary schools. These schools were located in Boothbay, East Boothbay and Boothbay Harbor. The two story L-shaped structure (95,116 square feet) has a central gymnasium/cafeteria and classrooms on the wings. The westerly wing contains 24 classrooms for students in grades K through 6. The school library and art room are also located in this wing. The northerly wing contains classrooms for the middle school. The computer lab, music room, band room, home and consumer sciences and technology education classrooms are also located in this wing.
